Our mission
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to love and help without personal interest, accepting the plurality and diversity of cultures and nationalities. Just like our host country, Canada, and particularly the province of Quebec, we have a clear desire to help people from all backgrounds.
Through our actions, we intend to contribute to equal opportunities and give vulnerable populations real access to educational success.
Like the Superior Council of Education of Quebec, we consider educational success as a process which encompasses academic success and allows the personal, social and professional development of the individual;
These actions involve the implementation of activities such as:
- Academic support workshops for disadvantaged children.
- Mentoring programs for struggling students;
- Extracurricular activities aimed at encouraging the personal and social development of children;
- Partnerships with schools and community organizations to establish initiatives to help disadvantaged children succeed in school;
- Regular assessments of children’s progress in school subjects;
- Satisfaction surveys with parents and teachers to collect their comments and suggestions;
- Regular meetings with partners (schools, community organizations) to discuss results and areas for improvement;
- Collection and analysis of data on children’s academic success (exam success rate, dropout rate, etc.) to measure the impact of our actions;
- Seeking grants and funding from provincial and federal governments, as well as private and public institutions;
- Organizing fundraising events to raise awareness of our cause and collect donations;
- Establishing partnerships with local businesses to obtain financial or in-kind support;
- Use of social networks and media to raise awareness of our association and encourage donations;
- Establishment of an online donation system to facilitate financial contributions;
Through these actions, we help young people to persevere in their studies and reach their full potential. By doing this, we are making a difference today in the lives of these young people, our adults of tomorrow. Our community will become a better educated, healthier and more equitable society.
